Y!Participate Initiative

Recipes for participation

We know that finding the right resources for meaningfully involving young people can be time-consuming. That's why we've curated these "Recipes for Participation" - sifting through hundreds of resources to help connect you to the tools you need to inform your work with young people.

We have tailored the first batch of recipes to two very important and commonly explored scenarios:

  • Involving young people in research
  • Involving young people in decision-making

This is an ongoing exercise for us, and we’re committed to expanding this resource. Have a suggestion for a new recipe? We’d love to hear from you via our contact page.

Organizations (including adolescent and youth-led groups), institutions, policymakers, educators, researchers, community leaders, and individuals working with, looking to work with, and meaningfully involving young people.
